About The Department
BSc Visual Communication or ‘Viscom’ is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that aims at providing an insightful view into a wide variety of subjects such as Animation, Drawing, Multimedia, Graphic Designing, Web Designing, Writing, Advertising, Film and Video Production, Video Editing, Photography, etc.
DEPARTMENT VISION
The department vision is to produce industry knowledge Media & Animation professionals who’ll bring fame and name to the media industry by their culture conscious skills.
DEPARTMENT MISSION
• To provide a broad spectrum of visual media to enable students make meaningful career
• To train students towards better understanding of media by sharpening their creativity.
• To facilitate use of alternative media to bring positive changes in society
• To bring down the gap between the academia and media industry.
Eligiblity:
• The candidates must have passed 10+2 in the relevant stream from a recognized board.
• They must have a minimum aggregate of 55% to be eligible for the program.

Video Editor |

• Event Management
Event Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales.
- Develops and recommend the budget, marketing plans, and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
- Maintains or exceeds budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.
- Recommends, develops, and implements effective marketing plans for generating event revenues.
- Evaluates each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced.
- Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors.
- Trains, supervises, and works with event staff, to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising and execution of the functions.
- Leads event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
- Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures.
- Coaches and counsels employees to reflect company service standards and procedures.
Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication
Students will be exposed to the relationship between communication and the visual arts. Students who complete a bachelor’s degree in this field are well prepared to collaborate with designers in other fields.
