About the Department
The Department of food and nutrition was established in 1997 with the aim of
providing higher education for rural students. Our objective is to impart Quality
Education in the field of food and nutrition. The department fosters teaching, research
and extension activities in the major thrust area like hospital food service, health and
fitness,food packing, post harvest technology etc.,
